  • P is People: Well connected locals from Hawai'i, active in Social Media, easy to contact, open minded, savy in concerns of events, touristics, sceneries
  • O is Objectives: Establishing confidence, talking with the people, communicate on a regular base
  • S is Strategy: Have two-way relationships, have them inform us about events, touristics, have them be curious about us
  • T is Technology: Blogs, Twitter, Facebook

  • Read their blogs, sometimes comment
  • Follow them on Twitter, retweet them
  • „Like“ their pages on Facebook but don't add them as friends (yet)

Always have a link back to your blog („Hawaiitwentyten“) in your Twitter profile, Facebook profile

Engage

  • Tell them about you
  • Answer their questions
  • Start asking them

Take off

  • Let them know when you will take off
  • Tell them you arrived

Keep on Engaging

  • Post pictures
  • Ask what to do on current and next island
  • Take every opportunity to meet them IRL!
